Offer mentoring for families
Without United Way Funding, we would be unable to serve 13 children in our Community, and we would not be able to begin our School-based program in Southern Utah.
Human needs in Washington County:
We have many single parent families in Southern Utah, and those children need mentors.
As a preventative program, children who have mentors are less likely to initiate drug and alcohol use, and do better in school, and in life.
Our Agency & United Way
"We are grateful for United Way Dixie funding. Without their help, many of our children would not be served. This year we will be able to build on our school based program with the help of United Way Funds. We also appreciate the United Way board and their continued efforts to support us in supporting children and families."
